Youth Camp

We remain hopeful that Texas Athletics Summer Camps will not be impacted by the current COVID-19 (coronavirus) cancellations and are continuing to monitor the situation closely. For those of you who have already registered, your space at camp remains secure. For others considering joining us, we will not be taking any new registrations until further notice. However, if you are interested holding a space for your camper, you can add your name to the wait list for your camp selection and you will not be charged until the camp takes place.  We will keep everyone abreast of this situation and communicate further information and updates as they become available.

Our thoughts as a Texas Athletics Family are for the health, safety and well-being of everyone at this time. Please take care of yourself and those around you. Hook ‘Em.

FOOTBALL CAMP PHILOSOPHY

In each camp, players receive instruction in all aspects of football, including passing, rushing, receiving, line play, blocking, and pass and run defense. Our renowned coaching staff teaches the campers fundamentals and techniques of each position. Each session emphasizes competition in small groups and teams and each camp is a non-contact camp.

ALL POSITIONS ARE COACHED EXCEPT FOR THE KICKERS

Shoe Tag & Parking Card
You and your camper will be issued a shoe tag and a parking card with matching numbers. The camper must wear the shoe tag on their shoes each day of camp. Whoever is picking up the camper MUST have the parking card to match up to the shoe tag of the camper. Only one parking card is needed to park.

Parking
Park in the UT Surface Lot 39 off Red River. Complimentary parking will be available if there are no other campus events. Please check our camp website for updates, and all pre-registered campers will receive an email of any parking changes.

Viewing Camp Practices
Please park in Manor Garage (MAG) when visiting your camper at either DKR-Texas Memorial Stadium or the Frank Denius Fields. Parking in surface lots on The University campus requires a valid University permit. Parking without the required permit, or parking in the LBJ Library lot (Lot 38) or parking in Thompson Conference Center lot (Lot 40) will result in the issuance of a citation.

*NOTE: The Tom Herman Texas Football Camp is not responsible for parking citations.
